Good news, friends! Right now we’re working in the temple! As in, this very moment! It’s really neat, and also completely insane. Also, sorry that we didn’t write to you all like we said we would Monday, but turns out that this whole week is a holiday in Chile, so there weren’t any computer places open. So we’re using the computers at the temple. jeje. Holy Computations, Batman! For this very reason, I am so sorry but I can’t send any photos because.... I don’t have my camera.
BUT!

I can answer all your questions. Or at least give responses.

-Somebody asked about my training experience. Mostly I was just like, "Welcome to the mission. You will now be my companion." and then I just worked like she was my normal companion, but with a little bit more explanations and practices at first. Now she’s a champ, and obviously that doesn’t have anything to do with me. But allow me to share a story of our first days. I think I already told you all that the firemen here in Chile have an alarm that sounds everyday and 12:00. Hna Cepeda’s first day, when the alarm sounded I said, "OH NO HERMANA! This alarm is an earthquake warning! we have 60 seconds to prepare ourselves for the earthquake!! Are yOu REaDy?1?" very frantic and panic like. And she was like, "wut NNNoooOOOO????!"
And I was like, "nah I’m just kidding. :}))"
She didn’t think it was that funny. But it was a little funny.
Anyways, Hermana Cepeda is a MAQUINA de verdad. She is so fun and crazy, and knows how to do EVERYTHING. She made me a little black dress which you will all see in photos of the temple! :) She’s really the companion that I needed these 2 cambios.

-We will be here working at the temple open house for 6 days. :)) Lots of crazy things. We’ve had people share all kinds of experiences and also all kinds of questions. It’s really neat! For example, we’ve had people talk about feeling the presence of departed loved ones, seeing sacred things in the mirrors in the temple, recognizing temple rooms from dreams, and just feeling really, really good.
Also, as in all things, there are those who choose not to enjoy. But we don’t worry about them. They’re just missing out on what we know makes us happy. :) Like when you serve someone ice cream and they don’t want to eat it. "You are a sad strange little man. And you have my pity. FAREWELL."
But we all have to be on barbie behavior, smiling even when we don’t know what the heck we’re talking about. It’s fun because smiles are contagious, but also exhausting.

-It is a little bit warmer here. I didn’t really have too much of a problem with the cold here because.... Cache Valley. But it is really wet. and it was hard to stay warm and dry. Also because there aren’t any heaters inside buildings. It’s all little iron stove thingies like you might see in movies where the people live in 1836 and still burn wood. Stupendous. Mostly everyone in Chile just stays inside. Sad but true.

If you all want to keep praying for Roberto that would be great. :) he’s making amazing progress and is going to be baptized the 29, next Saturday!! Yay!

BEST NEWS EVER. Remember my frens Ines and Humberto from the Cabrero days? THEY GOT THEMSELVES BAPTIZED!!! :D feel free to enjoy a divine photo.

Also we just keep on working. Roberto wants to be baptized sa durn much. He even came back to church on Sunday.

Yesterday, after a week of nothing because we were doing so many other activities, we found like 4 amazing new people with interest. They’re all so prepared and we are going to baptize them so hard.

Sept 18th is Independence day in Chile. Everyone is going nuts and we won’t be able to be on the streets after 6 PM. I hope that I can get some videos of all the traditional dresses and dances, but in the meantime, serve yourself to a Google Search with the following words:

Other than that.... ehhh, we’ll be in the temple next week, so I’ll just have to tell you all more on MONDAY, Sept 17. We’ll be in Concepcion for the 18th, so it will be a party people. But a consecrated one.

Because when I arrived it was a shell of a temple, and now it’s all grown up and beautiful. :*)

I would 100% recommend that if you by chance will be passing Concepcion you go to the temple. Do it. pls.

So this week.... we basically did the temple.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. SOooooo Imma cerrar la boca si cachai and send like 13000 "words"

We’ve literally been working hardcore this week. And our numbers reflect it a tiny bit. :) AT LAST. But this week we found a walking miracle. His name is Roberto and we left a pamphlet with him last week. This week when we talked to him in the street he was like, "I absoultely loved your pamphlet. Do you have more? Also, I have a few questions, for example, where can I be baptized??"

I didn’t hear much after that because of the hallelujah chorus that was playing in my brain.
So that was pretty much a miracle. Then he showed up at church Sunday. So..... God lives. he said that he loved to read 2 Nefi 32 and is extremely impressed by how he felt in the meetings Sunday. Also he stayed for all 3 HOURS. God loves His Children and His Church is true. :) Pray for Roberto who’s gonna get bautizado sept 29.

Good news, the sun came out for a hot second. I think it might be springtime??

There are flowers on the trees and even cute little bees. So... I think we’re headed for a change. And just in time for the temple. "Everything was going my way. or so I thought..."
No, but we’re all good here. What happened this week??

-We went to a capacitacion in Los Angeles for the temple where they were like, "While giving tours of the temple, please at least attempt to look pleasant." And I said, "Do I have to?"
Nah. Just kidding. I’m friggin stoked to be part of the temple stuff. I’ll be as reverent as cuss if I have to. Also, I saw all my frens. Hermana Hansen, Hermana Salmeron, and all the rest of the gals. good thymes.

Apart from that we worked. I learned how to make origami butterflies to give to people as a different way of contacting. Just trying something different. Turns out.... It’s kind of the same. But I think they’re cute lil guys.

If you want to pray for some people with your magic prayers, think of Marta. She accepted a baptismal date, but then also isn’t really sure she wants to go to church because "my husband be catholic forrrever..." but we’re working with that. She’s pretty much the best. She even asked for a priesthood blessing for her little girls who were sick. So.... al agua no mas. [No more tears.]

In my studies this week I was reading chapter 4 of PMG, and it was good. Sadly, I’m gonna have to read it again because I didn’t receive any of the revelation that I read about, so.... We’ll just keep working on that. But I know that there is revelation. I seen it with ma own eyes. When have you seen revelation?
